Where consistent with applicable law, we provide nonpartisan funding to U.S. local election offices to help ensure they have the critical resources they need to serve voters.
2024 Rural and Nonmetro Election Infrastructure Grant Program

The Rural and Nonmetro Election Infrastructure program is nonpartisan and open to rural and nonmetro jurisdictions that are legally permitted to apply for and receive grant funding to conduct reliable and secure elections as outlined by the U.S. Dept of Homeland Security. Permissible uses of the grant funding includes key human, physical, and technological assets that the Department has identified as necessary to conduct elections.

2020 COVID-19 Response Grant Program

Backed by a generous $250M contribution, CTCL received grant applications from over 2,500 local election jurisdictions across the country to help ensure they had the staffing, training, and equipment necessary so every eligible voter could participate in a safe and timely way and have their vote counted in the 2020 November election.
