The Rural and Nonmetro Election Infrastructure program is nonpartisan and distributed grants to rural and nonmetro jurisdictions where legally permissable to conduct reliable and secure elections as outlined by the U.S. Dept of Homeland Security. Permissible uses of the grant funding includes key human, physical, and technological assets that the Department has identified as necessary to conduct elections.

Backed by a generous $250M contribution, CTCL received grant applications from over 2,500 local election jurisdictions across the country to help ensure they had the staffing, training, and equipment necessary so every eligible voter could participate in a safe and timely way and have their vote counted in the 2020 November election.
