Michael Byrnes is a Research Associate at the Center for Tech and Civic Life. He holds a BA in Political Science from Rice University, where he served as Sports Editor for The Rice Thresher. In his spare time he enjoys playing the guitar and piano, pretending he lives in a walkable city, and making spreadsheets of anything he can think of — such as every teacher he’s had, every car he’s driven, and every city, county, and congressional district he’s visited.
